We’ve just spent a day at Metropolis studios, after a quick tour around the converted power station, which included a story about the ghost of Freddie Mercury playing the piano, we headed upstairs to meet Tony Cousins in the mastering suite. The mastering process is quite baffling, there’s a lot of buttons being pressed and chin stroking but we’ve no idea really what he was doing. All we can say is that in our hands we now have a fully mastered copy of the album which we are very excited about and sounds amazing….. Can’t wait to start playing the new tracks live!
